In the final project of the Computer Graphics course, the goal was to build a 3D model, as faithful as possible, for the house of UP movie, a well-known Pixar cartoon, using the Blender software.

01 —
Concepting

First, we collected some references of the selected shots and defined a list of objects to include in the scene.

02 —
Modelling

In the modeling process, we start from the chosen references, so it is important to select them carefully. For each object, its shape and structure are built.

03 —
Texturing

This is the most delicate phase, as it determines the realism of the scene. The chair o was the most complicated object from this point of view, as it needed a custom-made texture, which had to be created from scratch.

04 —
Rendering

Once all the objects were completed, we placed them inside the scene, positioned the camera, and started rendering, with the cycles rendering engine.

Once the renderings are completed, the images obtained must be modified to correct white balance, lights, and shadows.
